Naturally Wyatt did most of his writing on his laptop but the idea of writing with a real feather quill became suddenly appealing. He brought up a hand to draw swirls across Anne's collarbones.

"I love you more," he whispered. He'd never grow weary of saying it, or hearing her say it.

"In fate? I do," he then replied without hesitation. Even if there had been a time he thought he loved someone else vey much, it didn't compare to this feeling. His marriage was already on the rocks by the time Anne returned from Paris - from this city - and Wyatt wanted to believe it was meant to be that way. He had been free to fall for Anne.

"But the day you pretended to be George, and texted me from his phone... I don't know if that was fate, or just you being devious."

Anne laughed softly. "Devious? Moi?" But she couldn't keep a straight face to defend herself for that one.

"I almost didn't, you know," she pushed her fingers through his hair. "I almost left it there, after all it's not my business to go through my brother's phone."

She'd never done it before - except when George had been busy and asked her to call someone or respond to a text. What had possessed her to do it that night, she wasn't sure. It had to have been fate.

"But thank God I did," she whispered, leaning in to yet again brush her lips over his.

"Yes, thank God, knowing you had the hots for the mysterious Poet at the time. I always feel a little insecure thinking about him," Wyatt teased. Enjoying her touch, his head nodded down and he sighed.

"Ah... I do need to get up. You're much too tempting and I'd hate to be interrupted in the middle of-." He gave her a lingering kiss on the lips. "Wait."

After pushing himself up from the bed, Wyatt opened his suitcase and chose a new t-shirt and boxer shorts. Now he could at least open the door. He held out another white shirt of his and tossed it at Anne's feet.

"You want something from your suitcase?"

Anne chuckled and shook her head, rolling her eyes at him. Her fingers continued tussling his curls. "I would be worried if I were you, I hear he's good with his tongue," she teased right back.

She let him up and watched as he got re-dressed. When he tossed the shirt to her, Anne took it in hand and pulled it over her head. She lay back against the pillows and got comfortable.

"No, I'm all right, this'll do just fine," she smiled, curling a lock of dark hair around her finger.

Wyatt laughed at her comment. "Rumours! Just rumours, Anne."

He picked up the clothes they had shed earlier, piling them up on a chair so that if the person delivering food was to take a peek inside, the first thing they saw wouldn't be underwear.

"Come on, food. We're hungrrry," he growled, smiling though, and stopped to admire Anne. "Yeah, you look just fine," he said with a soft look in his eyes. He loved it when she wore his shirts.

Just as Wyatt was about to join her again, there was a knock on the door. The food was delivered on a trolley and with it came two wooden trays. Wyatt thanked the man, in French, and rolled the trolley in.

"Food for my queen! Kiss for me first," he announced and leaned over the bed.

Anne laughed and relaxed back against the pillows as Thomas tidied up. She began toying with the hem of his shirt, pulling it down, and pulling it up - showing off the curve of a slender hip and the swell of her thigh. Her dark eyes glanced up at Thomas playfully, teasing him.

But she was just as comfortable and enjoyed it just as much when she wore his shirts. They smelled like him, and they comforted her. Really, she wanted to have one of his shirts with her on the nights when he couldn't stay over.

But this was much better anyway.

Anne pulled up on the covers so that the delivery man wouldn't accidentally see her - though everything of importance was covered anyway. When Thomas closed the door and proclaimed his desire, Anne smiled and leaned up, bringing her hand to his jaw to bring him in for a kiss.

"A kiss for my poet," she whispered after breaking the kiss. "For my one and only."

Wyatt's fingers slid along her neck and shoulder before he pulled back with a chuckle. The wine bottle in the trolley caught his attention. "Ahah, hold these," he asked and handed Anne the glasses so he could pour them drinks. Eating in bed could get messy if one wasn't careful.

"A toast is in order." Wyatt sat at the edge of the bed and retrieved one wine-filled glass back from Anne. There was so much he could say. Holding up the glass he waited for the right words to come forth.

"Sighs are my food, drink are my tears..." But those were not the right words. They belonged to a sad poem of his that had been published in the paper before he started seeing Anne.

Wyatt shook his head, smiling. "No more sighs. No more tears since I got you in my life. I love you. I know we'll have a great trip. To us."

Anne took the glasses and held them carefully as he filled them with wine. She only let go of one glass when Thomas moved to take it. She smiled to his toast and brought up her own glass.

"No more tears. No more sadness. And henceforth, you shall me find to you be both gentle, loving and kind," she showed her own minimal talents in poetic syntax. But her skills paled in comparison to his. "To us, to our trip, and to freedom."

Anne clicked her glass against his and took a slow sip.

A smile and a tap at Anne's chin were the proof that Wyatt was touched at her little poem. She could be tough at work but with him, she truly was loving and kind. This trip was a test to their relationship; not before had they spent so many days in each other's company.

After tasting the wine, and approving of it, he placed the trays on the bed and loaded them with food from the trolley. Their omelets were nice and warm, the salad and bread looked delicious. Raspberries and whipped cream adorned the chocolate cake slices.

Wyatt got comfortable on the bed. "Definitely glad we didn't go out."

Anne settled into the bed with the trays beside them. Carefully she set her wine on the bedside table and began to eat. The food was as good as she remembered, but certainly not the best that France had to offer. But she wasn't about to point that out to Thomas, and nor was she really missing anything or felt the need to complain.

They were alone, enjoying fabulous French food in Paris.

"No place I'd rather be," she replied, sipping her wine again before finishing her omelet and then nibbling her cake. "This is so much more relaxing than going out into the city would be. Gives us a chance to settle after the flight. Couldn't ask for better company."

Anne smiled and speared a bite of cake, but held the fork up in offering to Thomas.

For a moment they both ate silently, enjoying the simple dinner and each other's company. Outside their little nest, streetlights were gradually replacing the setting sun.

"Neither could I. All that I want is right here."

After chewing down the offered piece of cake, Wyatt leaned in to kiss Anne. "Mm, nice. Tomorrow you can show me your favourite patisserie."

He in turn took one raspberry between his fingers and brought it to Anne's lips.

((ooc: I'm sorry, still slow. Writing in English doesn't come easy when I'm tired.))

Anne was only too eager to kiss Thomas back, faintly tasting the chocolate cake on his lips and tongue. She smiled when he spoke and nodded.

"Can't wait, we can buy a dozen macarons and eat them throughout the day," just as she had done before during her school days.

As he brought the raspberry to her lips, Anne opened her mouth slowly and let her tongue slip out from between her lips to brush over Thomas' fingers as she took the berry into her mouth and ate it slowly.

((ooc: That's all right! Hope you're feeling well and that things calm down soon!))

He kissed his own fingers after they had been touched by her lips.

"How does a dozen macarons last all day? Impossible!" he laughed and digged into the other piece of cake. While it wasn't that big, it was made of a rich chocolate and therefore very filling to eat. He finished the wine, too.

"We could wake up early and walk to see the Eiffel before the crowds of tourists? Though that would mean we have to go to bed early..."

Anne laughed and finished off her omelet before she took her glass of wine again, continuing to sip.

"Perhaps we should get two dozen then - especially the apricot and passionfruit with jam filling," Anne's mouth was already watering. Even though she was already full.

"Yes, if there are any sights we're planning on seeing like the Eiffel Tower and Notre Dame Cathedral, we should do it early in the day," tourists would still be asleep in the early hours.

Anne pouted her lips though at the prospect of going to bed early. She leaned forward and kissed him at the first opportunity - tasting the chocolate cake on his lips. "Mmm...chocolate tastes even better on your lips. But...if we're to go to bed early, I suppose we should do so sooner than later, non?"

Amused, Wyatt shook his head. "You're my little passionfruit." His hand came up to her neck while they kissed, and stopped there for a moment. Eyes twinkling, he glanced outside.

"Not too soon. There's a lovely sunset." Wyatt set aside his empty plates and got up, draping one soft blanket around his shoulders. He walked to Anne's side of the bed and held out the blanket so that she could wrap herself inside it, too.

"Come out to the balcony." Off in the distance was Eiffel Tower lit up with lights.

Anne chuckled as he teased her with that nickname. When Thomas crossed to her side of the bed and offered her space beneath the blanket, Anne was only too eager to stand up and slip into the blanket with him.

To watch the sunset with him, in Paris, with the Eiffel Tower in the background with Thomas. It was paradise.

"C'est magnifique," Anne whispered, looking out to the scenery. After a moment at the balcony, looking out to the city below, Anne turned and looked over her shoulder to Thomas. She brushed a soft kiss to his neck and nuzzled the curve of his jaw.

There must have been other lovers watching this particular Parisian sunset but this balcony and this experience was all theirs. Wyatt had them wrapped in the blanket as they stood near the railing. Magnificent, indeed.

When Anne tilted her head to kiss him, Wyatt became very aware of her soft body pressed against him. He loosened the hold of his arms so that Anne could turn around completely.

"Both so beautiful. You and the sunset." He gave her a tiny kiss at the corner of her mouth, and on the other side, and over her chin, and back to the mouth... and then he claimed her lips completely.

Oh there were most definitely other lovers watching the sunset, but they mattered not to Anne. She wanted nothing more than to just be here with Thomas, held tight in his arms - all alone, with no one to discover them or ruin the moment.

She turned in his arms when he loosened his grip upon her, both hands came up to rest against his chest as she leaned into him. When he trailed kisses on and around her mouth, Anne smiled and even giggled softly. Her lips parted a bit as she kissed him back.

"Thank you Thomas," she whispered, wrapping both arms around his neck. "You spoil me, by bringing me here. There's no place I'd rather be, and no one I'd rather be with."

"Nor I," he confirmed and kissed her again. "You're the best passionfruit I've had." Since Anne had her hands around his neck, Wyatt could easily pick her up by holding tight around her waist. He lifted her just enough to get her feet off the ground, and turned around to step back into the room.

Once there, Wyatt let Anne down and tossed the blanket on the bed. His hands slid across her back, feeling the contours of her body. Delicate fingers danced downward and lifted up the hem of the shirt Anne was wearing - his shirt - findind the bare skin of her rear. It was... incredibly arousing.

A low grunting sound came out of his mouth as he pressed Anne against himself. It was a far cry from the well-thought lines of poetry he wrote but it felt just as right.

Again she chuckled, breaking out into full-on laughter as he lifted her up off the ground. Her knees bent so that her feet came up behind her, brushing against the hem of his shirt at her back. As he tossed the blanket on the bed and his fingers found the hem of the shirt, she leaned up to kiss him, her own fingers finding the hem of the pants he had donned to get the food.

The grunt, to her, was just as poetic as the lines he wrote for the paper, and for her. She loved the sound, and found it just as arousing. Her body pressed into his, arching into his touch as her lips moved from his own and to his ear.

Anne loved the reaction she got out of him each time she paid such loving attention to his ear. The tremors and sighs he gave always made her feel triumphant and wanted. Desired.

It was very true, he felt a little weak every time she kissed and sucked his ear. Even now, his shoulders twitched and the movement of his hands came to a halt. He exhaled deep and called for her name.

"Anne." It was good that her name was so easy to say. "Anne... love." Wyatt kissed her neck. His ears, her neck... they both knew what the other one liked. He moved them closer to the bed. Anne was right, he needed to get rid of his clothes.

"Mm, wait." But not for long. Only as long as it took him to pull off his shirt. Now they both had just one piece of clothing on and it was up to her to either undress herself or him first.

Anne gasped softly against his ear as he kissed her neck. She tipped her head back to give him more skin, wanting more of his lips against her neck. They did indeed know what the other liked, and with minimal effort in figuring it out. It was as if they'd known already. As if they'd known all along.

She tugged gently at his pants once he pulled his shirt off. Taking off one piece of clothing wasn't enough. Not for her. Anne leaned up into him again, her hand found his and brought it to the hem of the shirt she wore. Anne wanted him to undress her and for her to undress him. How it was intended, in her mind. Her arms wrapped around her and she pressed her fingers into his back. Pulling him close, letting her fingers slide down and push down on his pants. Wanting to be rid of them.

"Thomas..." she whispered. Indeed, his name felt equally easy to breathe as a litany from her lips. There was no other word that would be as easy to say.

"Yes...," he gasped. His fingers slid along her sides, bringing the shirt up to her shoulderblades. That was as far as he could lift it while her hands were exploring his back and below. Another grunt left his lips.

No but he couldn't wait. He forced the shirt over Anne's head, messing her hair even more. Both hands took hold of her face; Wyatt pressed a hard, passionate kiss on her lips and moaned. He wanted to hold her tight but if Anne meant to pull down his pants, he had to let her move.

As the shirt climbed up her body, Anne moved her arms to allow him to pull the garment up over her head. Her dark hair fell in a tussled mess, a sharp contrast in darkness next to her creamy skin. As he pulled her in close, kissed her hard, she returned his kiss, parting her lips to deepen it. And while their lips locked, Anne pushed his pants down as far as she could without breaking the kiss. Then she reached up with her foot and pulled them down the rest of the way. She pressed the garment down to the floor, allowing Thomas to step out of it.

That was definitely new. Wyatt was amused at how flexible Anne was, though it really shouldn't have come as a surprise. He certainly didn't object to her methods of undressing him.

"Happy now?" he grinned and let his hands roam across Anne's back while keeping a small distance so he could admire her. "I like these..." He reached down to kiss the swell of her breasts; hot lips explored that skin so soft. And then, since he was so conveniently positioned, he lifted her up in his arms and carried her over to the bed.
